Check Out & First steps

Especially for beginners there is a document below which you should really pay attention to. You will find information about how to check-out Saros and how to make your first steps. Online and PDF version.
Hint: If you spot an ambiguity or an otherwise unclear passage in the guide, please don't hesitate to provide patches for the guide itself. It consists of easy-to-edit XML files (git clone http://saros-build.imp.fu-berlin.de/gerrit/saros-developer-guide) and is embedded in our review infrastructure, too.

Setting run configuration
There are three pre-set launch configurations which run out-of-the-box, called Saros_Alice_Host, Saros_Bob, and Saros_Carl. They should be used in combination with the respective XMPP accounts (on saros-con.imp.fu-berlin.de).
Running the configurations automatically creates a workspace and a working-dir for the configuration in the same folder that original workspace resides in.
